Vintage fair in Gloucester

VINTAGE FAIR IN GLOUCESTER

I am quite a lover of all things vintage and girly, Mostly thanks to charl! @aplaceonthebookshelf.
So when I came across this on a Facebook page the first thing I thought was to straight away tag her.

It was being held on the outskirts of Gloucester town and after couple peoples help to get to the right place we where finally here. It was held in a beautiful church so it had a lovely setting and for an entry fee of only a pound. Was worth every penny, They had a BBQ, music, dancers and over 30 stalls of crafts and vintage including hat, crafty headband and makeup  stall.

Some of the more modern punk jewellery available.

The outside gardens where lovely, And the dancers where incredible!

I found most of the stalls turned out to be jewellery which I loved, I got myself a few things as I went round. What I did find thou, that they sold a lot of clip of earrings which was slightly disappointing. But they made up for it which the beautiful brooches and clothes available to buy.

The awesome hat!!

Beautiful clip on earrings.

Some of the range of clothes and Aprons, this stall was lovely because they also did clothes for the little ones, like little bibs.

A beautiful brush, and comb set.

Overall if took us a good two and a half hour to go through all the stalls, I wish I had brought more than £30.00 with me. But if I had more money I would have gone overboard especially with the dresses.

The only other thing there was being my first vintage fair I didn't know what to expect but when I got the leaflet I saw vintage tea room, Got me thinking that would be a lovely place to go for lunch. However it was more of a staff room cafe. So after we finished at the fair we ventured back into town for some lunch.

CHARL

I wish I got a clearer picture some of the jewellery out on the stalls.

Paignton ZOO

PAIGNTON ZOO DAY 3 IN DEVON

Day three

When I was about 4 we lived opposite the zoo, Then when we where about 11 our house was knocked down to make way for an estate.

But I remember a few things about it, always being able to hear the peacocks was one.

So we all went, the usual people Me, Mia, Jazz and the kids.
Dylan LOVED IT.

Here is dylan posing next to a gorilla

rueben and his lolly

One of the best things about this zoo, The lemur enclosure where you have the wooden bridge which wobbles. I remember being tinny and this bridge seeming massive, however now I am older doesn't seem quite that big.

the snakes!

Mia not so much enjoying the heat.

Me and dylan

The lillypads.

One of the best things I have seen him the Salt Water crocodile.

now because of the heat and time unfortunately we didn't actually see the whole of the zoo, So I missed out on the elephants the zebras and giraffes all the big animals. I will take John here on a date I think, Simply b'cos I love this place!
