A little sunshine from L'Occitane

A little sunshine from L'Occitane

Don't you just love a free git, Come on admit it. We all do!

Well if you're a beauty freak like me you are in luck. L'Occitane for the next two months are given away little 'sunshine boxes' which are filled with little goodies. There are two catches however. You must be a VIP at L'occitane, or know someone that is and you must have received an email stating you're lucky enough to receive a complementary gift. Then you can collect a free gift yourself and pass it on to three friends so they can receive them too, How nice right?

If you are not a VIP it is so easy to sign up, Its free too! Just go into your local L'Occitane shop and ask for be put on the system. Its great too because you receive offers and discounts and you will know all about the store events. It is a win win, You can also do it over the phone.

What you will receive

You will get a small lotion and shower gel in the ever so popular verbena range. Which is so zingy and revitalising really a gorgeous summer scent. You also get the soap shown below. Great if you're travelling this summer.

A small Pivoine flora hand cream and a small Shea butter foot cream which is one of their bestsellers, The only thing I will use on my feet. It is amazing, and smells really nice too.

The next thing is the cutest thing ever. They have managed to dry out some lavender seeds, instructions are in the box. It just involves soaking it in water and planting it in soil then after a while Voila, lavender. I just love this idea, what do you all think?

My favourite Lipsticks for the fall/Autumn

My favourite Lipsticks for Autumn

One huge thing I love about autumn is the fact I tend to be a little braver with my make up, And the first cold season without my bright red hair means I can experiment a little more.

Before I had such problems finding dark lipsticks that didn't clash with the bright hair, Now with brunette hair I do get a lot more choice.

So I have piled my FOUR favourite lipsticks I will be wearing a lot of the next couple months. Most of these will be the plummy/brown kind. But isn't that such a fab colour to wear this fall?

Mac - Creme Sheen in the shade Modesty.

This is such a pretty colour, Very neutral and versatile shade you can mix and match it with a lot of different make up styles. I wear this shade a lot in the spring too, its why I love the Creme sheen range from MAC,  It has a Strong pigment but has a lovely shimmery finish with a long hold.

Kate Moss by RIMMEL in shade 04 - Rossetto

Such a autumn colour! Its a lovely dark purple, One of the darkest shades I own. I tend to wear this with very little eye makeup, I don't like the whole Goth effect it can give with two much eye makeup. But for date nights and a little black dress this lipstick is perfect for it.

The only downside is that it doesn't have the same staying power as other lipsticks and can look patchy if you haven't applied enough to your lips.

This was a gift from someone.. a VERY new brand to me

Helen E lipstick in shade Raspberry.

Now this little treasure is a find! It has a much smoother application then MAC and a lovely finish with very high pigment. It is a wine colour with a hint of both red and purple. However once on the lips it almost comes out with a little brown tint. I cannot rave about this lipstick without you guys buying one.
This will no doubt be my favourite for the autumn/winter months.

Mac lipstick from the Satin Range the Runaway Red

My favourite red out of my collection, and one end up using most of the time. It has a smooth, silky application and really does last hours. If I'm going out sometimes I would apply this over the helen E - Raspberry and it becomes such a deep colour.

Have you got any favourites for autumn?

My bedroom -

My new Bedroom -

Now that I have moved my main focus has been to get my current room re- decorated. I have gone for a slightly girly classy theme with very pale colours. Lots of flowers and prints. Its so hard because I have tried to fit the contents on 2 bedrooms in to the space of a one bedroom. Which means The big wardrobe I had in Montepellier I know have to fit into the space of two wardrobes and a chest of drawers. It didn't bode well believe me.

I have a slight fascination with collection cushions, If I go shopping and I spot a lovely cushion I do end up buying it. So now I have quite the collection of mis-matched cushions. My favourites being the flower one which was a steal from home base at only £10.00. I do regret not getting another one to match. The blue small ones where from dunelm mill as well as the white one. Those three are more for decoration because of the beading on them, Slightly uncomfortable.

On my dressing Table

I try to keep this clutter free as possible. I have my main products that i use on here as well as my trusty No7 mirror. Which I got for a bargain at only 5.00 Instead of the usual £50.00. The small mirror pot i use to keep my bobbi-pins in I got for only £2.60 from Sainbsurys. Both my perfumes, Vera wang and Ralph Lauren where gifts, the pandora box contains my most precious jewellery. Some eating from my grandma, My ring and some bracelets. I have some bits of Dermalogica and Clinique and My mac lippy.

I spend a lot of money on flowers now, I just love them. These where tulips £5.00 in sainsburys, And the picture is off me and my little niece.

Another random side, some products my chanel mirror, Hd brows, and my earing holder.

I have many sentimental things on here, The little pig which is hiding is one which Dylan(nephew) made for me last year. I have a picture of me and my twin when we where little and a picture of me and my dad. My bracelets and some Mac makeup.

Braclet one was from John, My mum and my friend

I got these lamps at dunelm mill at £15.00 each, This picture was a lovely gift from my mum when I first moved in to my apartment in montepellier.

There is a shop in Cheltenham called Vinegar Hill, If you like chesty vintage decorations. This is the place to go, Admittedly it is costly this was £20.00

Some of my collection of necklaces.

The room isn't finished yet, I still have a lot to add on and to do, Anyway hope you all have a good easter Sunday!

Lauren.
