october buys

 OCTOBER GOODIES

I am one of these bloggers who goes shopping buys things and never blogs about them, I buy most of them with the intention of doing a post. Just cant seem to get around to it. Anyway I was for shopping with my sister for halloween treats and nibbles when I came across the make up counters, DUN DUN DUN and there was a slight sale on!

Which means I got some super duper sales

Maybelline - SuperStay7 nail polish in shade
- Rose Poudre 130

This was £2.00 Absolute bargain if you ask me!

It comes in beautiful pale almost like a grey pink matt finish. Which is fantastic as it looks like a gel, Might have to go and stock up on these bad boys.

Maybelline - Lipliner

Lip liners in shade,

- Sweet Pink
- Pleasure me red

I have got this huge thing for lipliners, It makes your lips look fuller and makes your lipstick line absolutely perfect. My favourite one Sweet pink was only £1.00 ahh sweet sales...

Maybelline - Colour sensational lipstick

In shade, HoneyBeige

£3.50

Again a very pretty nude colour, Looks incredible with the lip liner.
However the staying power in this lipstick in shocking, When applying it sort of has a greasy feel which I don't like, But for the pretty colour I will put up with it.

Move over batiste
I have a new favourite dry shampoo and it is wonderful!
Cost wise it is about the same, This doesn't have the potent fruity smell that comes with Batiste However it is mega powerful and works as soon as you spray it into the root. Perfect if you have very fine hair and you are after a little bit of volume. Also if you have to leave for work super early and you're rushed

£4.00
Last bit of my little buying spree in Sainsburys my favourite foundation,  Matt Mousse this time in shade

Sandy

A gorgeous foundation that I always go back too!

Have you brought anything recently?

My favourite Lipsticks for the fall/Autumn

My favourite Lipsticks for Autumn

One huge thing I love about autumn is the fact I tend to be a little braver with my make up, And the first cold season without my bright red hair means I can experiment a little more.

Before I had such problems finding dark lipsticks that didn't clash with the bright hair, Now with brunette hair I do get a lot more choice.

So I have piled my FOUR favourite lipsticks I will be wearing a lot of the next couple months. Most of these will be the plummy/brown kind. But isn't that such a fab colour to wear this fall?

Mac - Creme Sheen in the shade Modesty.

This is such a pretty colour, Very neutral and versatile shade you can mix and match it with a lot of different make up styles. I wear this shade a lot in the spring too, its why I love the Creme sheen range from MAC,  It has a Strong pigment but has a lovely shimmery finish with a long hold.

Kate Moss by RIMMEL in shade 04 - Rossetto

Such a autumn colour! Its a lovely dark purple, One of the darkest shades I own. I tend to wear this with very little eye makeup, I don't like the whole Goth effect it can give with two much eye makeup. But for date nights and a little black dress this lipstick is perfect for it.

The only downside is that it doesn't have the same staying power as other lipsticks and can look patchy if you haven't applied enough to your lips.

This was a gift from someone.. a VERY new brand to me

Helen E lipstick in shade Raspberry.

Now this little treasure is a find! It has a much smoother application then MAC and a lovely finish with very high pigment. It is a wine colour with a hint of both red and purple. However once on the lips it almost comes out with a little brown tint. I cannot rave about this lipstick without you guys buying one.
This will no doubt be my favourite for the autumn/winter months.

Mac lipstick from the Satin Range the Runaway Red

My favourite red out of my collection, and one end up using most of the time. It has a smooth, silky application and really does last hours. If I'm going out sometimes I would apply this over the helen E - Raspberry and it becomes such a deep colour.

Have you got any favourites for autumn?
