Boho Top - INSTYLE

Boho top TREND ALERT

 from New look £17.00

Have you noticed in all the high street shops currently, boho tops are in. I personally love the whole summery laid back casual look of these! I have brought countless versions of boho tops since May. It is just too easy to pair it with some shoes and sandals or some leggins and a leather jacket. Boom! day to evening look is sorted.

I have been after one of these for so long but I never found a style that was flattering for girls with big boobs like myself. You have to be so careful as the tops that hang off the shoulder is a no can do, I need a bra to help hold the girls up.

So this was another New Look find, I just love New Look its always great for price and such lovely designs. This was was just under the £20.00 mark but what really caught my eye was the gorgeous threaded detail and patterns down the front, and the tassels at the bottom of the shirt.

What do you think of think of this style, would you wear it?

I have found some gorgeous finds which I have my eye on below.

River Island

This one is so girly, Maybe it is because I am a lover all everything lace. But its so pretty!!

New Look

This one has a little more colour to it, And it more evening you can just pop tho with a leather jacket and it would really turn a day oufit into night time.

H&M eyeshadow palette

H&M
Eyeshadow palette

Shade - Brown palette £3.99

Did you know that H&M did a make up range, I did but never thought to purchase anything from there. I have seen a lot of you blog about their new range coming out in AT15/WN15 . Now as well as releasing make up, they will be releasing hair care and body care as well.

Picture from H&M

The new range has a Charlotte tillbury feel about it, which I am just loving it is more sophisticated and more classy. This is going to be very popular without a doubt. Anyway back to the main point of this post, I was shopping in the H&M store in Bristol not long ago and came across a large make up range in store.

I decided to make a small purchase just to try it out, I picked this lovely palette which helps achieve the prefect brown smoky eyes . Only £3.99 I thought it was a great purchase. One thing H&M don't do is testers, So you're more or less buying without trying the product. They will be doing tester stands with their new range which is long over due.

All the colours are highly pigmented, Meaning you have that shade lasting longer. In the palette you have a beige cream colour with a little shimmer (my favourite) and four gorgeous deep chocolate brown shades, one being a matt finish.

Packaging is just lovely, feels solid, is that a thing? for the price it is fantastic. Its a case that clicks down  and really easy to open and close. We do have to think about these things, because let's face it fake nails make everything a lot harder to open.

Wearing the darkest shade from the palette.

Have you brought anything from H&M make up range before?

Long gold necklace

SIMPLE GOLD NECKLACE - PRIMARK FIND

You know those last minute dashes around shops, I did one of them last week. It involved last minute plans to go out in the evening, so I had to nip out on my lunch break at work. Took around half hour to go in to three shops including Primark and river island where I had brought a gorgeous white floaty vest and needed a little something to go with it. Couldn't pick between earrings, hair accessories or necklaces! I ended up going with a necklace

This is a gorgeous one I brought from Primark for only £2.00, About 24 inch long so they are made to hang down Which I love! I actually had a girl in bristol comment on it and ask where I brought it from. It is that lovely.

It really is good quality, and I just love the simple design. Another great thing is  because of the price you can buy more and layer it up. I love the different lengths really finishes of a plain outfit. I did buy a few more on my visit to Bristol which I will post soon. Just had to say that this one was my favourite.

What do you think about Primark jewellery would you buy any?

French Connection Event - Cheltenham

French Connection Event
Cheltenham

French Connection store in Cheltenham

I am a blogger, yes but I have never ever shopped in french connection! Is that bad? No not really. I am getting more confident with fashion, I am not a fashion blogger I would say beauty and accessories are more my style. I find it hard to find clothes that fit my awkward size, I guess.

So back to the point French connection held an event at the beginning of the month to celebrate Cheltenham gold cup week with the racing. It has just taken me over ten days to finally blog about this, Yeah I take my time.

So this was an open door event, which means no tickets needed to enter. This was at 6pm-8pm so after the store was closed. You get offered a lovely glass of prosecco when you enter the store, or orange juice for the drivers well thought of there, So I settled for an orange juice. They had music playing at the front of the store, it was a nice atmosphere.

Some gorgeous blue and navy clothes.

Bags and accessories

I don't know how often they do the events, but when you make a visit to your next store it is worth asking.

That skirt was beautiful!

I cant believe I have never shopped in here, the gorgeous clothes the pastels, the pinks and the blues…I just love blue. The skirts, oh the dresses you guys really need to make a visit in to your local stores. You really get what you pay for with clothes like this. I am a huge fan of the dresses however not the sizing I think a 12-14 turned out to be a large..gulp.

I was walking around the store deciding between a jumper and a teeshirt but it is so hard when you're loosing weight, it is a in-between stage of not wanting to buy anything big or too small or spend too much. In the end I settled for this lovely nautical teeshirt, great for spring! It is only £29.99!!

So here came the goody bags, They really filled these up to the brim with lots of beautiful things.

French connection make up bag
L'occitane travel size products
Thortons chocolates
Dior small foundation
Bare minerals samples
Jo Malone hand massage
Dior face consultation
Dior serum

So with my item of clothing I went up to the till, to find around 50 gift cards on the side. The manager was telling me how three out of the fifty gift cards had £50 on! Lucky me picked  a lucky one, And got given the gift card.

So I went back to the accessories and choose this super cute but simple bracelet. Which was so pretty for only £19.99 I love the silver bar across it,

The gift bag and my purchases

Overall, I had a fab night. It got made brilliant when I won the gift card! Who loves free things, especially pretty things!!

Let me know if you have been to an event, I love to see what you guys thought.

WORK LOOK

WORK LOOK WITH NEW LOOK

I never post about fashion, Actually come to think of it, I think I have blogged about this once before. I love fashion, I love putting outfits together and playing with clothes. However I think because I am still insecure with myself, I tend to play the safe card a lot.
However with work I have to wear smart, all black and hair tied back So on my days off I do tend to wear brighter clothes just so I don't constantly feel like I am going to a dam funereal.

I went into New Look in Cheltenham, which FYI. CRAP customer service, I basically got insulted by a member of staff, Saying for my size I should shop only in plus size stores..

Hold on…..  *****

So with that current mood, I picked up what I wanted and was out the door.

I got this beautiful long oversized boyfriend jacket/coat, Which I love it is so stylish!!
And I think its perfect for when you're cold you can wrap it around you. It adds a little more ZING to the constant line of black dresses I own.

Newlook for only £29.99 New in.

I also got this lovely dress from H&M, Its slightly fitted around the bust and fits so comfortable, Its so hard to find a plain smart dress where it's actually stylish and fashionable. As normal however H&M never fail!

H&M Black Dress £16.99

H&M Tights £7.99

I also wore a chain and bead necklace from New Look, I don't know why I happen to shop here so much! That was £5.99

doh for donuts

DOH - MAKE UP BAG

Yep, Not spending any money did not last long. I went shopping, All for good reason I start my new job tomorrow! So went to get a few things I needed from town today and came across this Cute bag from H&M. I don't know if this is made to be a make up bag, But more of a pencil case. I however love using it as a make up bag. This is only £1.99  and is new in store so there is a lot of stock!

I don't actually own many funky bright items, So this for me is something new to try. Plus the donuts remind me of the Simpsons, and I do like that! This is more of a FUN item to have and most likely the cheapest make up bag I have ever purchased in my life. I am trying to save money after all, right?  I will keep telling myself that.

You can fit a lot of items in this bag, and it has a very secure zip. If you would like to see more designs and maybe purchase one click below.

NATURAL GLOW -BARRYM

Natural Glow - PALETTE by BARRY M

Oh, I brought something (hides) all my blog posts seem to be about pallets lately. So last week I was just stumbling around Boots and came across the make up stands and then found this little treasure. Such beautiful autumnal shades and for a small price of £6.49 It is such a good value. I could not put it back on the shelf. I have so many Barry M nail polishes that are just brilliant, and hardly any Barry M make up I thought I ought to start giving it a go.

The packaging is very pretty, simple and modern with a ample size mirror as you open the pallet. All the colours are so perfect for autumn which I just love. However all very subtle, you have to use a lot of the shadow to get a darker more intense shade, So therefore I am still trying to figure out if it is good for under £7.00 but I guess you do get the six shades and the very pastel pink blush.
I have sampled the shades below for you all to see, There are two other pallets in this range. One with just pink tones called Summer tones and another with black and greys called smoking hot. I recommend you all go out and buy these!

Velvet NAILS

VELVET NAILS BY NAIL ROCK

 - £6.00 from feelunique.com

I constantly change my nail varnish, admittedly when it comes to painting the right hand I am not brilliant.

I usually cant stick with gems, and nail stickers, but I thought I would give this a go.
A little on the expensive side for just nail varnish but with it coming with velvet powder also known as flocking powder I guess its worth the price.

The powder itself is very fluffy and soft, also very messy. Its made up on little fibres of velvet.

It is very easy for apply.

Apply on clean nails, do two coats of the nail varnish. It said on the packet to dip your finger nail into the pot, this however is quite hard and I found out that way you end up with some patches not covered. So gentle tipping the pot I simply put a small amount of powder on each nail and cleaned away the excess.

LEAVE FOR 20 MINUTES.

no kidding, don't touch it!

and voula! Beautiful fluffy velvet soft nails!

I cant stop touching them! Now, you can wash your hands as well, water does slightly effect it but once it dries it does still have fluffiness but you will notice you might have slight patches where it has come off.

Lasts for about 2 - 3 days!
